Catalogue of nonwoven polypropylene technical fibers (technical wigofil)
Polypropylene nonwovens also function under the names: wigofil, non-woven (nonwoven, nonwoven) or wigolene. They are mainly used in the clothing, upholstery, furniture, technical, automotive, leather and footwear industries. In the catalogue you will find samples of technical nonwovens in weights: 15, 17, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 120, 150 and 180 g/m2. European quality.
Technical non-woven polypropylene is valued in many industries thanks to its properties. Like ordinary wigofil they have been produced using spunbond technology. As a result, they are characterised by their softness, low tensile strength, relative stiffness and do not fray when cut, however, they are more robust than standard nonwovens. They are flame-retardant (they melt at high temperatures and do not catch fire). In addition, PP nonwovens are air permeable. Technical nonwovens also differ from standard nonwovens in the structure of the material (it is dotted).
What to use the vigofil for?
Amongst other things, technical wigofil is recommended for - as a lining material (e.g. in cushions, quilts, bags, rucksacks, shoes) and as a material for compartments and pockets (e.g. in wallets, briefcases, bags), - as an upholstery fabric (in particular to cover furniture elements or to trim the bottom of animal pouffes), - to create a slip layer between the foam and the upholstery fabric (e.g. to make it easier to slide the covers on). for easier sliding of covers), - for production of garden furniture, mattresses, advertising bags and tourist accessories, - as a material for covers and cases, - for sewing car upholstery; - as an auxiliary strengthening and stiffening of e.g. fabric in the place of sewing buttons or magnetic fasteners, - for production of ecological bags, advertising bags, etc.
