Thanks to this it is durable, soft, elastic and does not absorb water. Polyester cord is resistant to various types of dirt and damage, and is therefore easy to clean. The colour is permanent - it does not discolour. The cord melts when exposed to heat, but does not deal with fire. Polyester twine is available in a wide range of colours.
