Products made from Oxford are stain-resistant and easy to clean. Most dirt can be removed with a damp cloth or soft sponge and mild detergent. Do not use aggressive chemicals containing solvents or bleach. Properly maintained, this polyester fabric offers long-lasting durability.

Basket weave
Basket weave (a derivative of plain weave) is one of the simplest and most versatile weaving techniques, in which warp (vertical) and weft (horizontal) threads are interlaced in pairs or larger groups instead of individually. This creates a structure that looks like the fibers are “arranged in a checkerboard pattern.” Its origins go back to antiquity – basket-like weaves were used by ancient Egyptians, Chinese, and pre-Columbian peoples in the Americas to make mats, baskets, and fabrics. The compact structure reduces snagging, increasing both the aesthetics and durability of the fabric, even under intensive use. The even distribution of tension makes the fabric resistant to stretching and abrasion.
